Antonio Rudiger’s future at Stamford Bridge is reportedly in doubt, with Chelsea yet to offer the central defender a new contract.

The 27-year-old has played 111 games for the West London club since arriving from AS Roma back in 2017, including 24 appearances in all competitions during the 2019-20 season.

The Germany international’s current contract at Stamford Bridge is set to expire next summer, though, and according to the Daily Mail, there has not yet been any talks over a possible extension.

The report suggests that Frank Lampard’s desire to strengthen his defence ahead of next campaign could lead to German defender being moved on in the summer transfer window.

The defender lost his spot in the starting XI after the 3-2 defeat at West Ham United earlier this month, however, was back in the starting side against Norwich City on Tuesday night.

The Blues are next in action against Man Utd in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.

Meanwhile. Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings has reportedly emerged as a surprise transfer target for Everton and Manchester United.

While the England international is regarded as a vital player at Villa Park, the 27-year-old centre-back would be made available should his team suffer relegation from the English top-tier and with the three gameweeks left before the season ends it seems likely that Dean Smith’s side could return to Championship for the next campaign.

According to The Mirror, that has resulted in Everton and Man Utd identifying the left-sided centre-back as a possible signing.
