Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly keeping a close eye on Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas who has been struggling first-team minutes at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri.
The 31-year-old midfielder has made over 180 appearances for the Blues since a 2014 move from the Catalan club, and appeared in 49 games in all competitions for the Premier League heavyweights last season.
The central midfielder has missed all four of the Blues Premier League games this campaign with a minor knee injury, and his future under new Chelsea head-coach Maurizio Sarri is believed to be unclear.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Serie A giants Milan are keeping tabs on developments at Stamford Bridge and could move during the January transfer window with Fabregas’s current Chelsea contract due to expire at the end of the 2018-19 season.
San Siro giants did some business with the Blues during the recent summer transfer window, with Tiemoue Bakayoko joining the Italian giants on a season-long loan deal.
Chelsea are also believed to be keen on to lure AC Milan winger Suso at Stamford Bridge and could use Fabregas in a swap deal.
