Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger is open to make a January move to Barcelona according to the latest reports.
The 27-year-old defender has struggled for action since the arrival of Thiago Silva failing to play a single minute in the English top-tier this campaign.
Spanish outlet Sport reports, that the Catalan club are interested in securing the services of the Germany international, however, having been frustrated in their attempt to sign their no.1 transfer target Eric Garcia from Manchester City the Catalans might be forced to look elsewhere to strengthen their defensive options in January.
The report indicates that Rudiger is keen on making a move to Camp Nou in the New Year and Chelsea are willing to cash in.
Barcelona also eyeing a move for another Premier League defender ahead of the winter transfer window with Shkodran Mustafi is rumoured to be Ronald Koeman’s shortlist of available options should they fail to reach an agreement either with Garcia or Antonio Rudiger.
Chelsea are currently fifth in the Premier League table only three points separating them from Leicester City and they look good at the defensive end with Zouma and Thiago Silva have establishing a good partnership.
