Chelsea anchorman Jorginho has revealed his desire to nake return to Serie A giants Napoli, where he spent four years before making switch the Blues in London.
The Italy international was influential in the West London club’s 2-0 victory against Porto in their Champions League quarter-final first leg, providing the assist for Mason Mount’s stunning goal.
Jorginho has joined Roman Abramovich’s team back in 2018 for around £50m and has gone on to found back of the net 16 times and produce four assists in 128 games for the club.
Following Wednesday night’s game, the 29-year-old did not rule out a possible move back to Naples when speaking to Sky Sports News: “When you live in Naples you can never forget. I had a wonderful experience and I am very fond of the city and the fans.
“Now honestly I’m not thinking about it because my concentration is all on Chelsea, but if there is the possibility, one day, you don’t know when, to return , of course I’d like it.”
This campaign, Jorginho has played 30 games for Chelsea and contributed seven goals for this season.
The Blues seem to face Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League as both of them 2 goals advantage ahead of the second leg.
