Emerson Palmieri has claimed that he has no plans to discuss his future at Chelsea until the end of the current campaign.
Despite being a regular with Italy national team, the 26-year-old defender has made just seven starts and six substitute appearances for the London giants across the all competitions this season.
However, despite having just 15 months left on his current deal, the left-back wants to focus on playing a part at Stamford Bridge during the rest of the season.
Speaking to RAI Sport, Palmieri said: “It’s still early to talk about the future. I am focused on the national team only. We’ll see what happens in June.
“Chelsea can go all the way in the Champions League and the FA Cup. We can win something this season.”
Palmieri has frequently been rumoured with a transfer back to hwith Inter Milan believed to be frrountrunners to secure his services, however, his former club AS Roma also planning to lure him away from Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea meanwhile also consider to extend contract of Brazilian defender Thiago Silva who has impressed since his arrival in the summer.
