Chelsea and Liverpool could reportedly rival Arsenal for the services of Real Madrid attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
The Norway international midfielder has impressed for the Gunners since joining the club on loan in January, founding back of the net twice in 12 games for Mikel Arteta’s side in all competitions.
The North London club are believed to be keen to secure the services of the 22-year-old midfielder on a permanent deal in the upcoming market, and the Los Blancos head-coach Zinedine Zidane is allegedly ready to allow the attacker to depart from the club.
However, according to the Daily Star, the North London giants are fearful that Odegaard’s price will rise to £50m this summer following to his fine form at the Emirates Stadium.
The report also suggests that Liverpool and Chelsea are keeping a close tabs on developments, with the pair considering battling the Gunner for his services.
Martin Odegaard – also believed to be interesting PSG – has only made 11 first-team games for his parent team, however, has a contract at the Bernabeu until June 2023 and any team interested to sign him should splash the money to secure his services.
