Chelsea and Manchester United will reportedly compete for the services of Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen ahead of the new season.
Since joining from Dutch giants Ajax five years ago, Eriksen has become a key player for the Spurs and helped them to transform into on of the title contender teams in England he has been directly involved in 141 goals in 255 games for the North London club, founding back of the net 62 times and providing 79 assists.
According to The Daily Express, Chelsea and Man Utd are both hopeful of securing the services of the Danish international playmaker after Real Madrid cooled their interest.
The report adds that the two Premier League heavyweights will face competition from German champions Bayern Munich and PSG for the 26-year-old midfielder.
Eriksen is currently earning £75,000 per week at White Hart Lane, however, the contract will expire next summer and he is yet to agree on contract extension with the Spurs and it give Chelsea and Man Utd chances to strengthen their midfield options for the next season.
