Chelsea and Man Utd ready to sign in-demand Belgian wonderkid

November 19, 2018

Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly two of the clubs prepared to challenge French giants Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Belgian defender Heritier Deyonge.

L’Equipe reported the 16-year-old sensation has impressed for PSV Eindhoven’s U17 side and attracted attention from the continental elite.

According to the report, Heritier has a particular fondness for Paris Saint-Germain stars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, which could give the Ligue 1 leaders some edge in their pursuit.

Heritier is yet to debut for Holland national team at any level, but the fact he’s in the youth setup of one of the nation’s biggest sides – a steady production line for some top Eredivisie ace —is an encouraging sign.
