Man Utd and Chelsea are reportedly behind Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the race to secure services of AC Milan stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The 22-year-old’s current deal at San Siro is set to expire at the end of June, and the two parties have not yet been able to come to an agreement over a fresh deal.
The Blues and the Red Devils have both recently been credited with an interest in the Italy international, who has played 236 games for AC Milan in all competitions.
However, according to Tuttomercato, Ligue 1 giants are currently in ‘pole position’ to secure services of the Italian, with the Ligue 1 champions are determined to bring a new goalkeeper to the club this summer.
Donnarumma played his Serie A debut at the age of 16 before featuring for Italy less than one year later.
Defending Ligue 1 champions have also been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris amid talks that the France international could depart from Jose Mourinho’s side in the upcoming market.
Chelsea and Man Utd also interested in securing the services of another AC Milan defender Alessio Rommagnoli.
