Chelsea’s hierarchy consider Thomas Tuchel’s return impossible as they still backing Graham Potter despite their recent struggles.

Potter is under huge pressure at London giants as the 1-0 loss to Southampton on Saturday has left them with just one win in their last 10 matches.

Chelsea currently sit 10th in the English top-tier and 11 points behind fourth-placed Spurs, while they must overturn a 1-0 defeat to  Dortmund to progress further in the Champions League draw.

Despite the Blues below-par performances, the teams board are believed to be standing behind former Brighton boss and believe he is the right man to return old glory at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea fans have already sang Tuchel’s name during games this campaign, with a section of fans believing that the decision to sack the German was a mistake.

However, the Evening Standard claims that the idea of Tuchel making a return to Chelsea is ‘impossible’ as the club’s hierarchy didn’t like his job at the club.

The report also suggests that PSG are considering the idea of re-signing Tuchel ahead of the next season in order to replace Christophe Galtier.
