Chelsea have reportedly decided that they will accept £70.8m offer for Willian either from Barcelona or Manchester Utd.
The 29-year-old forward has spent the last five seasons at Stamford Bridge, with scoring 44 goals in 236 appearances, however, the Brazilian star has just two years left on his current deal.
In recent weeks, Man United have again been rumoured with an approach for the South American forward, while it has also been reported that the Catalan club have failed with an offer of £50m star.
According to Mundo Deportivo, that has resulted in the Blues setting an asking price of €80m for Brazilian forward, whose value will decrease if he doesn’t sign a new deal ahead of the next season.
Willian is currently representing his country at the World Cup, leaving it unlikely that any potential deal will progress until the conclusion of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have been in touch with European Champions Real Madrid regarding a move for Croatian anchorman Mateo Kovacic, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Blues are poised to announce Maurizio Sarri as Antonio Conte’s successor ahead of the next campaign.
It seems the soon-to-be Stamford Bridge gaffer is keen to strengthen the Blues midfield area ahead of the next season.
