Chelsea eyeing move for in-form La Liga versatile midfielder

Chelsea have reportedly been in touch with La Liga giants Sevilla to discuss a move for Spanish attacker Pablo Sarabia at the end of the current campaign.

Sarabia, who has joined La Liga club from Getafe in the summer of 2016, has been in impressive form this season, founding back of the net 17 times and registering nine assists in the process in 36 games at all competitions.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Pablo Sarabia’s form has caught the attention of Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, however, the Blues are also firmly in the hunt for his services and have already been in talks with Sevilla over a summer switch.

Sarabia, who can play in a number of different teams in the final third of the field, will see his current contract with La Liga giants expire at the end of next campaign.

Since arriving at the Estadio Ramon, the ex-Spain Under-21 attacker has found back of the net 37 times and contributed 31 assists in 135 games in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has been rumoured with a move Chelsea and Manchester United.
