Chelsea in pole position to sign Dynamo Moscow playmaker Arsen Zakharyan. The London giants stay interested in the 19-year-old playmaker who is expected to move in the summer.
Despite being only 19 years old Arsen has been a regular for the club over the last couple of years. Zakharyan is one of the brightest youngsters in Europe and a move to a bigger team is seemingly likely during the transfer window.
The Russian is capable of playing in several positions in midfield and front-line. Arsen can play out wide, as well as in attacking midfielder, but has also played in a slightly deeper midfield role. Joining the Blues appears to be the next logical step for all teenagers around Europe at the moment, with Boehly stockpiling footballers.
Planning for the future and bringing in up-and-coming talent from across the globe has been Todd Boehly’s strategy since buying the club last year, but the Blues supporters are yet to see positive results.
