Chelsea have reportedly joined the race for Ligue 1 striker Serhou Guirassy.

According to Sky Sports, Frank Lampard’s side are interested in signing Amiens striker as they need offensive reinforcements.

It’s reported that the West London club are now keeping tabs on Guirassy, with Lampard overseeing a potential move for the Frenchman at the end of the current campaign.

Amiens will allegedly accept transfer fee around £18million for their star player this summer, and Premier League teams are keen on to lure him away from France, as Bournemouth and West Ham both had loan-to-buy offers turned down in January.

The Spurs are interested too, whilst the Daily Mail also claims that the Scottish champions Celtic are keen on Guirassy, even though the price tag may be beyond the Bhoys.

Guirassy has grabbed headlines on Saturday with founding back of the net twice against PSG including a late equaliser in the topsy-turvy 4-4 draw.

Guirassy is well-built at 6ft 2in tall, however, he’s also mobile and adept with the ball at his feet, meaning he can play as an all-round centre forward.

With Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi leaving this summer, the Blues will need at least one forward who will accept a role behind Tammy Abraham, and Amiens forward may fit the bill.

The Spurs would be seeking the same behind Harry Kane, however, even if Scottish giants sell Odsonne Edouard during the summer transfer window, it seems unlikely that they would double their transfer record with a contract for compatriot Guirassy.
