Barcelona playmaker Ilaix Moriba has reportedly arrived in Germany to finalise his medical ahead of a summer move to German outfits, RB Leipzig.
The 18-year-old has entered the final year of his deal at Camp Nou and has turned down numerous offers to sign an extension.
According to Sky Sports News, Ilaix Moriba has arrived in RB Leipzig to undergo his medical ahead of finalising a permanent transfer to the German club before the German transfer window ends at 5pm.
The Guinean had previously been rumoured with Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, though the midfielder is believed to have turned down approaches from the two Premier League teams.
RB Leipzig are set to pay La Liga giants, Barcelona just £5.1m for the teenager, which is significantly lower than the La Liga teams initial valuation of the player, believed to be worth around £17.1m.
Moriba played just 14 La Liga games for Ronald Koeman’s side last campaign, founding back of the net once and providing three assists.
Meanwhile, Chelsea long-term Declan Rice will not force a departure from the club, according to a report.
The West London club are believed to be ahead of their rivals Manchester United in the race to secure the services of the midfielder, who rejected two contract offers from the Hammers last month.
Rice’s future stays uncertain however, according to the Daily Telegraph, the 22-year-old midfielder is still prepared to give his all for the Hammers and will not look to force through a transfer.
