Serie A giants, Inter Milan centre-back Stefan De Vrij could reportedly be set for a switch to the Premier League this summer.

The Netherlands international has spent the past three years at San Siro since arriving on a free from Serie A giants Lazio, however, he now has less than two years left on his current deal at the club.

De Vrij was an integral part of Antonio Conte’s Scudetto-winning side last season, however, with no contract extension in sight, Inter Milan are believed to be considering a sale in order to make a healthy profit.

According to Tuttosport, Stefan De Vrij’s agent Mino Raiola is aiming to engineer a Premier League transfer for the defender, who could be available for a fee of €40m (£33.9m) this summer.

No specific teams have been mentioned, however, Chelsea are believed to be in the market for a new defender, and their pursuit of Sevilla’s Jules Kounde is believed to have stalled.

Stefan De Vrij has managed to found back of the net seven times and provided six assists from 124 games at Inter, who are also rumoured to be bracing themselves for a £100m offer from the Blues for Romelu Lukaku.
