West Ham United are reportedly prepared to sell their star player Declan Rice for the right price this summer.
Having established himself as the club’s vital player and with four years left on his current deal at the club, Rice is believed to be valued in the region of £80m.
However, according to The Sun, the Hammers may have to cash in on one of their best players if they wish to finalise deals for several of their own transfer targets.
The report claims that the club’s board may be willing to entertain a bid of £70m, providing that a proposal is structured in their favour.
Frank Lampard’s side are known to be keeping tabs on the England international’s situation at the London Stadium as they keen on to strengthen their defensive areas and following the versatility of Declan Rice they get two for one.
Nevertheless, it is previously been reported that the West London club may only be prepared to go as high as £60m for the 21-year-old’s services, however, after securing a place in the Champions League spot they could spend more and increase their bid.
Chelsea also eyeing a move for Kai Havertz and the deal seems to be on the cards as the Blues have already agreed on personal terms with the player.
