Chelsea and Tottenham are among the sides that are keenly monitoring the situation of forward Andrea Belotti, who could leave Torino in the summer, according to a recent report by Italian outlet Corriere Granata.
He has gone on to establish himself as one of the best strikers on show in Serie A since joining the Granata from Palermo in the summer of 2015.
A mainstay for Torino pretty much since the off, the 27-year-old star has been the leading light for the Italian outfit over the last six years.
The ongoing campaign, though, has been a little slow by his standards, with Andrea, who was made the club captain ahead of the 2017/18 term, managing only 11 goals and six assists in 26 Serie A appearances.
Nevertheless, the player’s stock remains as high as ever, as suggested by interest from the Blues and Spurs, among others.
Chelsea are allegedly set to enter the transfer market for a forward in the coming summer, partly because of Timo Werner’s struggles to adapt to life at the club.
In addition, Olivier Giroud is tipped to leave Stamford Bridge post the end of the term, while Tammy Abraham has struggled for minutes under manager Thomas Tuchel.
As a result, the west Londoners have opened talks with Erling Haaland.
However, with the Norwegian ace being chased by other elite clubs, it is prudent for the Londoners to keep their options open, which has seen them being linked with Romelu Lukaku, with Andrea a viable target as well.
