Chelsea ready to hijack Barcelona move for in-demand Englishman

Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester City are all believed to be keeping tabs on highly-rated Fulham ace Harvey Elliott.

The London Evening Standard claimed that his performances at youth stage have not gone unnoticed.

There is reported to be interest from some of the top teams not only in England, however, in Europe as well, with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund also rumoured with securing the services of the youngster.

Potential suitors were believed to be alerted by Elliott at a recent England Under-15s tournament that has been held in Italy.

The London club are keen to tie him down already to fend off interest from top European teams, however, at the age of 15, he can only discuss a scholarship deal this winger, giving clubs a window of opportunity before he signs a professional deal at the age of seventeen.

The Blues have picked up a shrewd reputation for signing the country’s best promising prospect at an early age in recent years, however, they could have a fight on their hands if interest in Elliott continues to rise.
