Chelsea have reportedly identified Birmingham City starlet Jude Bellingham as a potential signing during the summer transfer window.
Despite only turning 16 years of age this summer Bellingham has already played 28 games in the Championship, founding back of the net four times and provided two assists.
The emergence of the teenager has inevitably led to strong interest from the English top-tier including from the Red Devils who are believed to be ready to make a bid later back in 2020.
However, The Sun reports that the Blues are ready to rival the Red Devils for the midfielder’s services as they look to add another English talent to their ranks.
The report claims that the West London club are prepared to propose a £50m offer, which would involve a guaranteed £35m plus £15m with bonuses and it will be tough from Birmingham to turn down such an offer.
With Bellingham having less than 18 months left on his current deal, Birmingham are believed to agree to a sale before the beginning of the next season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United eyeing a move for highly-rated French forward Moussa Dembele as both are keen on to strengthen their offensive end ahead of the next season.
