Deal Close: Serie A Giants Determined to Sign £100,000 A-Week Chelsea Star

Lazio have reportedly identified Chelsea forward Pedro as a potential target this summer.

Spanish forward was in and out of the Blues team under Antonio Conte the last term, making only 17 starts in the English top-tier and his role at the club remains uncertain following the arrival of new head-coach Maurizio Sarri.

La Repubblica reported that Lazio are hoping to make a move for the Spaniard if he is forced to look elsewhere for more regular first-team football, and the Italian giants are ready to make a £22m bid for former Barcelona star as they see him as a perfect replacement for Felipe Anderson who has made switch to West Ham United earlier last week.

Pedro has just one year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues could look to cash in on the 30-year-old this summer rather risking to lose him for free next year.

Sarri has been rumoured with a number of attacking options since his arrival at Chelsea including the likes of Dries Mertens and Jose Callejon from Napoli.

Pedro has made the switch to Chelsea from LA Liga giants Barcelona back in 2015 and has gone on to found back of the net 28 times in 131 games for the club.

Chelsea Boosted In Their Pursuit for 23-year-old Serie A Winning Defender

Manchester United centre-back Victor Lindelof is on a list of potential candidates to replace Daniele Rugani who has been on the verge to sign for Chelsea.

Rugani, 23, is expected to become a Chelsea player within days second major signing of the Maurizio Sarri era with Serie A champions reportedly set to accept a £44.6m offer from the West London club.

Sarri is a long-time admirer of the Italy international centre-back and has previously tried to sign him at Napoli.

Serie A champions are prepared to sanction his departure to a club outside of Italy however and are now considering options to strengthen Massimiliano Allegri’s squad.

Atletico Madrid captain Diego Godin has entered the final year of his deal at Spanish giants and the Serie A champions are reportedly planning to make £22m offer for his signature.

Italian giants are also willing to offer the 32-year-old a three-year contract. However, it remains to be seen if Godin decides to quit the Spanish giants.

Tuttosport reports Juventus planning to make a move for Man Utd defender Victor Lindelof.

Signed just last summer for £30m from Benfica Swedish centre-back struggled for first-team minutes at Old Trafford.

Tuttosport claim Italian giants initially held an interest in signing the Sweden international should Chelsea sign Daniele Rugani.

Almost Done: Chelsea Could Agree Deal For World-Class Serie A Midfielder

Man Utd superstar Paul Pogba could join Serie A champions, Juventus if they sell Miralem Pjanic to Chelsea, according to the reports in Italy.

Paul Pogba’s future at Old Trafford remains in doubt following suggestions he wants to depart from the Red Devils after his poor season under Jose Mourinho.

Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri recently tweeted: “It’s all true: Pogba wants to join back Juventus. But at the moment Manchester United are not willing at all to open a negotiation about him, and hardly Juventus will get a discount on price as with Cristiano Ronaldo, considering Pogba is at his career peak.

“A swap with Dybala is logically the only possible ground to make Pogba to Juventus happen, but at the moment nothing is in motion yet, and all in all Juventus would then definitely need to sell also Pjanic and probably Alex Sandro too.”

And the Italian newspaper TuttoSport echo reported that Pogba and Juventus are keen on to work together once again.

However, they say any deal will be dependent on whether Miralem Pjanic makes the switch to the Red Devils direct Premier League rivals Chelsea.

Serie A giants will need to sell Pjanic to raise funds for French forward’s return and the Blues are the club keen to secure him.

However, the Serie A champions are demanding £72m for the 28-year-old midfielder.

New Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is reportedly keen on to lure Bosnia International playmaker at Stamford Bridge ahead of the next season after securing the services of Jorginho.

Should Chelsea fork out the required fee, Juve would have enough money to re-sign Paul Pogba.
