Chelsea are interested in bringing Eden Hazard back to the club and are willing to offer €50m to Real Madrid to re-sign the player, according to a recent report by Catalan outlet El Nacional.

He joined Los Blancos from Chelsea in the summer transfer market of 2019, fulfilling his dream by making his way to the Galacticos.

However, the dream rapidly turned into a nightmare for him, who has struggled to be a regular starter for his team owing to a spate of injuries.

Now into his third campaign at the La Liga outfit, the 30-year-old Belgian has only managed to feature in 51 matches while registering five goals and nine assists in the process.

The injuries haven’t gone away early in the 2021/22 term, with Carlo Ancelotti having to manage Eden’s minutes carefully.

However, in spite of his struggles at the club, the experienced forward remains a revered figure at Stamford Bridge, where the player spent seven illustrious years and now, it looks like the west London giants are ready to bring him back.

At, Real Madrid, chairman Florentino Perez is aware that he won’t be able to recoup even half the fee he paid to sign the star.

However, he is still interested in allocating in a little more than the €50m that the west Londoners are set to offer.
