Chelsea are reportedly keen on to make a move for Serie A giants Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old was rumoured with both Man Utd and Everton during the winter transfer window, however, ultimately remained with Italian giants beyond the transfer deadline.
Vecino has played 20 games for Antonio Conte’s side this campaign and has played the full 90 minutes in their last two games in the Italian top-tier against AC Milan and Udinese.
However, according to Calciomercato, the South American midfielder is expected to depart from San Siro during this summer’s transfer window in search of pastures new.
The report suggests that the West London club are still interested in the playmaker, who could be available for €25m ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Vecino has found back of the net 11 times in 91 games for Serie A giants since joining them from Fiorentina.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly been offered a new deal by Serie A giants Lazio, however, will wait until next campaign before making a decision on his future.
The Frenchman has seemingly played his last game for the West London club and appears certain to depart from Stamford Bridge on a free transfer at the end of the 2019-20 season.
According to The Telegraph, Serie A giants have offered the 2018 World Cup-winning forward a pre-contract, however, the experienced attacker wants to see whether the Spurs reignite their interest before agreeing to join the Italian club after the end of the season.
