Chelsea are reportedly happy to sell Italy international defender Emerson Palmieri for €20m (£17.12m) when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge back in 2018, the Italy international has only been considered as a back-up option at the left-back position.
However, with Marcos Alonso now back in favour, the 26-year-old has been limited to first-team football since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel.
According to Calciomercato, club officials are now open to parting ways with 26-year-old defender after the end of the current campaign.
Inter Milan and Napoli are believed to be keeping tabs on the situation, potentially eyeing a compromise with the Blues following to Palmieri’s contract only running until 2022.
The former AS Roma man has previously acknowledged that he is keen to play regular first-team football in order to keep place in Italy national team for the Euro 2020.
Recent reports from Italy claimed that Antonio Conte is keen on to be reunited with Palmeiri and ready to lure him at San Siro and price tag that the Blues slapped on his head could be easily paid by Serie A leaders.
