Chelsea have reportedly put a £25m price tag on French centre-back, Kurt Zouma.
The 26-year-old defender has featured on 36 times for the West London club during the 2020-21 season, however, he struggled for regular starts in the second half of the season.
Zouma’s current contract at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in June 2023, and a recent report suggested that Tottenham and Everton were keen on his services.
AS Roma have also been credited with an interest in the Frenchman, who has played 150 games for Chelsea since arriving at the team from Saint-Etienne in 2014.
According to RMC Sport, the London outfit have set an asking price of £25m for the French defender, who was a part of the France national team for Euro 2020.
The report suggests that AS Roma are keen on a loan deal for Zouma, however, Chelsea would not be interested in allowing him to depart on a short-term basis in the current market.
The centre-back has previously had loan spells at Saint-Etienne, Everton and Stoke City.
Jose Mourinho is keen on strengthening his defensive end and also eyeing a move for another Premier League defender Alex Telles who has failed to cement a place in Man Utd starting XI.
