Chelsea slapped £60m price tag on 28-year-old midfielder amid Juventus transfer links

Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly put an asking price at £60m on Jorginho amid rumours linking him with a switch to Serie A champions Juventus.

Juve head-coach Maurizio Sarri worked with Italy international midfielder at Napoli before taking him to Stamford Bridge, and he now reportedly wants to be reunited with him in Turin ahead of the next season.

A possible swap deal which would see Bosnia Herzegovina international midfielder Miralem Pjanic move in the opposite side has been touted, and the Blues head-coach Frank Lampard is rumoured to be interested in that scenario.

However, with La Liga giants, Barcelona also interested in securing the services of Pjanic, Tuttosport claims that the West London club have told Juventus how much a straight cash deal for Jorginho he would cost.

The London giants want between €65m (£58.2m) and €70m (£62.6m) for the Serie A giants – slightly more than they paid to sign him back in 2018.

Jorginho has managed to found back of the net nine times in 91 appearences for Chelsea since joining the club.

Serie A defending champions also eyeing a move for another Chelsea star Emerson Palmieri.
