Chelsea are reportedly ready to let five out-of-favour players depart from the club to raise funds for permanent basis for Joao Felix and West Ham United star Declan Rice.
The West London giants managed to fend off competition from the Gunners to secure services of Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid earlier in the winter transfer window, however, his deal does not include an option or obligation to buy.
Nevertheless, having immediately become a regular fixture under Graham Potter, Portuguese forward is being tipped to end his underwhelming stint at Atletico to join Chelsea on permanent basis for the next season.
However, having spent £111m to bring Felix to the Spanish capital from Portuguese outfits, Benfica in the summer of 2019, Atletico will reportedly look to recoup between £70m and £80m for their star player.
Meanwhile, ex-Chelsea product Rice will likely be allowed to depart from the Hammers for the upcoming summer transfer window.
A host of first-team players will likely be cut from the Stamford Bridge to raise funds, and according to Fichajes, the West London giants have identified five players that they could sell to strengthen their coffers.
Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Conor Gallagher, Hakim Ziyech and Kalidou Koulibaly could supposedly all be on the way out.
