Chelsea urged to make approach for South American No.7 forward

Louis Saha reckons Chelsea should launch a move to land Everton forward Richarlison in the summer.

The 24-year-old star could be on the transfer market at the end of the term as the Toffees aim to balance the books due to losses of over £100m last year.

Ex-Manchester United star rates the Brazilian very highly and thinks the former Watford youngster would be a great fit at Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Speaking to BoyleSports, Louis said: ‘I don’t see any sides that wouldn’t have him. He’s a special player and no-one plays the way he plays.

‘He’s always a danger and I can see any side from the top, Chelsea or Liverpool, wait not Liverpool! Obviously joking.

‘For sure a team in the Premier League will be looking, but I hope Everton manage to keep that kind of player because he’s the star.’

His form has been patchy this term as the South American has struggled to impress in a Toffees team which is battling for its PL survival.

However, in spite of scoring only six division goals this season, Richarlison’s desire hasn’t waivered which was evident midweek when the player tucked away two penalties in Everton’s 3-2 defeat at Burnley.
