Chelsea urged to make summer move for Liverpool out-of-favour midfielder

Chelsea have been urged to sign Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer by Troy Deeney

Right now, the whole worlds has been handling with the coronavirus outbreak that has damaged the thousands of peoples, which means many of the footballing headlines are missed by many of the supporters out there, however, there has been a lot said about the future of Lallana.

Despite being a fan favourite at Anfield, there is alot of speculation that Jurgen Klopp plans massive squad overhaul this summer and hosts of players have been linked with a switch to Anfield while first-team stars tipped to depart from the club and one of them has been Lallana.

England international playmaker is out of deal in the summer, with the Merseyside Reds not thought to be keen in extending his current contract and that has prompted interest from Arsenal head-coach Mikel Arteta while high-flying Leicester are also keen on to secure his services, however, Watford captain Deeney believes that Chelsea might be interested in signing him.

He told The United Stand: ‘I think they’re a phenomenal team. I do look at teams like Liverpool and go, “where do you improve?”. ‘Lallana they’re letting go now – I was just chatting about this with my mates in our group chat – Lallana walks into 90% of teams.

‘Other than Man City, he could play for Man City but I think they’re overpopulated… you would take him at United. He’d be in the squad and 100% he improves the squad. ‘Lallana can play anywhere across the front line. Tottenham would take him, Everton… Chelsea, yeah.’
