Chelsea and Arsenal are firmly in the sights of Serie A outfits Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah.
The Gunners are planning to overhaul their squad ahead of the next season in the wake of Unai Emery’s appointment as Arsene Wenger’s successor.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are keen to sign a replacement for Bakayoko who has failed to cement a place in the Blues starting XI since his transfer from AS Monaco last summer.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with players from Serie A in order to strengthen their midfield are.
Acquah has now revealed that he is ready to swap Turin in order to play in the Premier League.
“In January I was close to Birmingham but then there were too many details to define and I was not able to move,” Acquah told Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“My dream is to play in England and every day I pray for the opportunity to play in [the] Premier [League].
“I do not have a favourite team but I expect to play at Chelsea or Arsenal.”
Torino ace was linked with a move to Manchester United in back in 2016 as Jose Mourinho looked keen on to strengthen his midfield area.
