Isak Bergmann Johannesson has admitted he never considered the Premier League giants Manchester United or any other elite clubs across Europe as an option in the summer transfer market.

IFK Norrkoping chief scout Stig Torbjornsen revealed in October 2020 that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were among the 10 sides to have shown interest in the 18-year-old midfielder.

Wolverhampton Wanderers were also named as a potential buyer, but he ended up leaving VitaBlaa for Copenhagen. His decision to reject the likes of Wolves was not received well in Sweden.

Tipsbladet has now come up with a recent report explaining the player cost around 37.5m Danish kroner (€5 million) for the Danish side.

These reports are also been published by the Swedish newspaper Expressen, who further add Norrkoping will receive 30% from his future sale.

It is not made clear whether or not United looked at the possibility of landing the teenager in the summer, but the ace has made it clear he never thought about joining Manchester United or Juventus.

“There were many rumors. But I knew right away that I would not move to Manchester United, Juventus or any other big club. I would like to be there in ten years, when I am 28 and when I have reached my peak,” he told Sportbladet, as cited by Tipsbladet.
