Arsenal CEO Ivan Gazidis finally looks set to secure a move away from Emirates Stadium and accept a big-money offer from Serie A giants AC Milan.
The London Evening Standard claimed that the Gunners key man is set to bank around £3.6 million per year from the switch to Serie A, with AC Milan keen to get a deal over the line.
Gazidis has been in transfer talks over a move to Serie A for some time and any potential contract has been drawn out by the Gunners attempts to keep him at the team.
The Elliott management group have been very keen to bring the Gunners chief executive to Italy and utilise him in a similar role at AC Milan
Following a takeover at the team during the summer, they want to take the Italian side back to the top in Serie A and envisage Gazidis playing a vital role in that process.
It had been reported that he could stay at Emirates Stadium. However, he now looks increasingly likely to leave the club.
