Serie A giants, AC Milan are reportedly firmly in the race to secure the services of Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
The 30-year-old’s current deal at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire next June, and the North London giants are allegedly not prepared to discuss an extension until the end of the 2021/22 season.
As it stands, foreign teams will be able to speak to the former Lyon forward in January about a pre-contract, and a number of clubs, including Spanish giants, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, have been linked with his services.
According to The Sun, there is also genuine interest from Serie A, with AC Milan ready to hand Lacazette the chance to continue his career in a new league.
The former Lyon forward will reportedly take his time when it comes to deciding his future, as a number of European teams are keen to secure his services on a free transfer.
Lacazette has managed to found the back of the net three times and provided one assist in 10 games for Mikel Arteta’s side during the 2021-22 season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal another forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be on his way out from the club with Barcelona are keeping close tabs on his situation.
