Lyon are facing a battle in their bid to keep hold of Moussa Dembele. The 25-year-old centre-forward has become a wanted prospect in the market following a promising season in France. Dembele is primarily courted by the PL teams, with the list including Man United.
Tottenham and Arsenal are involved in the battle as well, as they look to bring Moussa back to the PL. Les Gones could be willing to let go of their centre-forward for a fee of nearly €25m, considerably lower than his €33m price tag last summer.
Formerly of Fulham, the French centre-forward has continued to impress the onlookers with his goalscoring prowess following his return from Atletico last summer. The Frenchman has emerged as a star performer for Ligue 1 giants this term, racking up 21 goals in the league, helping Les Gones finish eighth in the table.
The Gunners are set to offer stiff competition to Man United in their pursuit of Moussa. Arsenal are preparing for life without Lacazette, while Nketiah has emerged as a target for Chelsea and Liverpool following his fantastic displays in recent weeks.
Even though Eddie Nketiah could be signing a new contract, the Gunners need at least one new striker to strengthen their front-line, making Moussa a viable target. Dembele was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dire season for Les Gones. Tottenham are the other club interested in the services of Moussa Dembele.
