Liverpool are set to offer highly-rated forward Bobby Duncan a new deal, despite the fact that he has only joined the team in the summer.
Duncan, who has been a cousin of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, has been in stunning form for the Reds youth sides, as proved by the fact that he found back of the net four times as the Reds U18s defeated Middlesbrough 6-5 in a great game earlier this weekend.
As reported by The Times, The Merseyside Reds are aware that some German teams are interested in securing the services of 17-year-old Liverpool as and as such, they’d like to offer him a new contract to ensure that his future lies at Anfield.
RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich have both been keeping close tabs on the England U17 international and are believed to be interested in taking him to Bundesliga, where he could follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho who has impressed at Dortmund since his move from Manchester City.
Duncan joined Liverpool from direct Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer and is believed to be happy at Anfield, where he’s been able to train with the first team.
