Chelsea and Manchester United will reportedly go head to head in the transfer race to sign Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal this summer.
Chile international midfielder has joined Bayern Munich from Serie A champions, Juventus back in 2015, and has helped the German giants to claim the three straight Bundesliga titles during his time at Allianz Stadium.
The 31-year-old midfielder will see his current contract expire at the end of next campaign, however, and it is believed that the Bavarians are prepared to sell ahead of the 2018-19 season as part of a summer clear-out.
According to Bild, Manchester United and Chelsea both want to take the Chile international midfielder this summer, who could be available for £31m this summer.
Vidal, who recently had surgery on a knee problem, has found back of the net six times and provided two assists in 35 appearances in all competitions during the 2017-18 campaign.
Meanwhile, the Premier League pair are also in the hunt for another Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski who seems to be unhappy at Allianz Arena and considers an exit from the German giants.
