Chelsea wonderkid Armando Broja is reportedly set to put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge next week.

The striker has returned to the team following a stellar loan spell at Eredivisie outfits Vitesse, where he has found back of the net 10 times and assisted two more in 30 Eredivisie games last season.

Broja’s existing deal at Stamford Bridge is set to expire at the end of the next campaign, however, according to, terms over a new five-year contract have now been agreed.

The report adds that Broja is expected to pen fresh terms until 2026 on Monday, and the starlet can look ahead to more first-team opportunities following Olivier Giroud’s transfer to Serie A giants, AC Milan.

Broja – a six-cap Albania international – enjoyed a stunning Chelsea cameo during a pre-season friendly against Peterborough United on Saturday, founding back of the net once and setting up another in a 6-1 success.

The 19-year-old has risen through the youth ranks in West London and made his senior competitive debut for the team in the 2019-20 campaign, coming off the bench for the final four minutes of a 4-0 victory over Everton just before the first coronavirus shutdown.
