Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel may have reportedly done the Blues no favours in their bid to add Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland.
The West London giants were interested in the Norway international during the summer transfer window before discovering that it would take a bid of £150m in order to lure him at Stamford Bridge.
Earlier this week, Tuchel spoke openly about the 21-year-old forward, suggesting that the European giants may renew their interest next year.
However, according to Bild, Borussia Dortmund may have perceived the comments to be the ‘first public attack’ to entice the player away from his current team.
While Norwegian forward has a release clause in his deal, the German giants, are expected to make an attempt to agree on fresh terms with their star player to sell him for a higher transfer fee in the summer.
Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Man City and Chelsea are among the other clubs who are keeping tabs on the situation.
Chelsea have signed Romelu Lukaku last summer, however, adding Haaland still will be a no.1 priority when the transfer window will be re-oepned.
