The Turkish newspaper Takvim report Fenerbahce chief Damien Comolli has identified Chelsea forward Pedro as a potential target ahead of next year’s summer transfer window.
The former Barcelona star’s contract with the Premier League club will expire at the end of the term and Takvim say he is an option for the Super Lig side.
It’s reported Comolli will sit down and hold discussions with Pedro’s agent in the immediate future and that Fenerbahce are very serious about bringing the Blues player to Istanbul at this stage of his professional career.
The 32-year-old star has been an important part of the Chelsea roster since arriving from Barcelona, but manager Frank Lampard now has other options ahead of him with the likes of Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian competing for places.
According to a recent report, Fenerbahce are eager to get a deal done for the technically gifted Spaniard.
Pedro’s future was recently asked by the Spanish media, with it being reported he was considering a return to his homeland.
In other news, Chelsea are reportedly keen on a move for Lyon centre-forward Moussa Dembele.
The Blues are currently banned from bringing new stars to the club due to a transfer suspension, but the capital side are said to be confident of overturning the decision in time for the winter market.
According to the Daily Mail, Frank Lampard’s men are interested in a move for Dembele, who has been strongly connected with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks.
