Brendan Rogers is reportedly interested in luring Arsenal full-back Kieran Tierney at Leicester City after the end of the current campaign.
The Scotland international who has only joined the North London club has struggled for regular first-team football at the Emirates Stadium mostly because of the injuries, with the left-back currently nursing a shoulder problem.
According to 90min, the Foxes are making plans to sign a replacement for Ben Chilwell as the Blues eye the Englishman, and the Brendan Roger’s side have identified Tierney as a potential arrival in the summer.
The report suggests that the Gunners would be open to selling the Scottish defender, at the end of the 2019-20 season should they recoup the majority of the £25m they splashed for his signature while securing his services from Celtic.
Tierney excelled under Leicester head-coach Brendan Rodgers while he was in charge at Scottish giants and some sources from England claim that former Liverpool boss is keen on to lure him at the King Power Stadium.
The full-back’s last appearance for the North London club was against West Ham United in the English top-tier at the start of December. However, he is on course to make a return from a shoulder injury before the end of February.
