The Premier League giants Manchester United central defender Marcos Rojo may reportedly be offered a short route out of Old Trafford by the Turkish side Fenerbahce, according to reports in the Turkish press.
The Argentina international saw a permanent move to Everton break down in the closing phases of the English transfer window as the Toffees instead signed Barcelona Colombina central defender Yerry Mina for an undisclosed fee thought to be around £30 million.
Marcos Rojo could be allowed to depart from the club on a temporary basis until next summer, however, with Turkey’s one of the most popular sports newspapers Fanatik reporting that negotiations are ongoing over a loan deal.
Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho is supposed to sanction the transfer, with the 28-year-old star dropping behind Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Victor Lindelof for a starting place.
A £16 million signing from the Liga NOS giants Sporting Lisbon four years ago, in all competitions (Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Champions League) Marcos Rojo made just 12 appearances for Manchester United the previous season, provided one assist but failed to net a single goal.
