According to the latest transfer news, Chelsea defender David Luiz has reportedly emerged as a January transfer target for La Liga giants Real Madrid.
On Sunday, the Brazil international was dropped from the Blues squad to face Manchester United, and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte appeared to question the defender’s future at the club after being asked about the player’s absence.
As per the reports from Gambling Times, the centre-back could be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge at the start of 2018.
David Luiz has made 11 starts for the Blues this season, but the former Paris Saint-Germain star has not produced the same level of performance as he did when the West Londoners won the Premier League last season.
Antonio Conte’s stance on Sunday is said to have alerted Real Madrid, who may be in the market for additions given their poor start to the season in both La Liga and the Champions League.
The reports claim that PSG, AC Milan and Inter Milan are also all said to be interested in a loan move for the 30-year-old defender should Chelsea make Luiz available for transfer.
