The Premier League is on pause following of the coronavirus outbreak, and football games across Europe have been postponed, however, there are still talks about transfers and several Liverpool players are expected to leave the club.

The Liverpool Echo have suggester that there are four senior players at the Merseyside Reds that will depart from the club at the end of the current campaign.

Nathaniel Clyne has spent the entirety of this year on the sidelines, and hasn’t been involved in Jurgen Klopp’s squad in the recent years, however, his Anfield nightmare looks set to end.

The Liverpool Echo suggest the full-back will not be offered a new contract and will be allowed to depart from the club on a free.

It shouldn’t then be a surprise to hear that English playmaker Adam Lallana is another star that looks set to be leaving the Reds in a few months’ time.

The Echo claims that the midfielder isn’t in talks over a new contract and will also be allowed to depart for free in the summer.

Dejan Lovren makes up the trio of ex-Southampton men set to depart from Anfield this summer – the Echo claim Liverpool will ask for around £14million for the Croatian star and AS Roma are stated as an interested party.

The last name – and one that will likely upset fans – is Xherdan Shaqiri. The Swiss has been a fan favourite at Anfield.

It’d be a shame to see Shaq depart from the club, but he is keen on to player regular first-team football and due to a high competition at Anfield he is likely to leave the club.
