Chelsea head-coach Frank Lampard is reportedly keen on adding another forward to his Chelsea team this month and is believed to be pressurising the board to make funds available.
The West London club are currently fourth in the English top-tier despite managing just 12 victories from 24 games.
According to The Sun, Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani and AC Milan No.9, Krzysztof Piatek are of interest to the London club as they seek to boost their attacking options before the end of the January transfer window.
Currently, Tammy Abraham is the Blues top scorer with 13 Premier League goals, while Christian Pulisic has been on the second place with a five.
Both Cavani and Piatek have been out of favour at PSG and AC Mila respectively, however, Uruguay international forward is reportedly on the verge to join Diego Simeone’s side in the coming days.
AC Milan are believed to be open to allowing Polish forward to depart from San Siro on loan this month, however, the January window closes on Friday giving Frank Lampard limited time to make any deal happen.
Meanwhile, Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has been rumoured with a switch to Inter Milan following his limited time at Stamford Bridge.
