French club set to make approach for Arsenal first-team star

Ligue 1 giants Marseille have reportedly identified Spanish full-backs Nacho Monreal and Alberto Moreno as potential signings for the upcoming transfer window.

The French clubs have endured a disappointing first half of the 2018/19 season, and the team currently sit in fifth place in the Ligue 1 table.

However, Marseille boss Rudi Garcia will be keen on securing a place in the Champions League, and it appears that new additions could help them to compete for the top four finish ahead of the next season.

According to France Football, Garcia is considering making offers for both Spanish defenders Alberto Moreno and Nacho Monreal.

Liverpool star has just over six months left on his current deal at Anfield, and the Merseyside club may be willing to sell him for a cut-price deal.

Nacho Monreal finds himself in the same situation at the North London club and despite the 32-year-old’s status on the squad, Unai Emery is keen on to sell former Athletic Bilbao defender.

Meanwhile, Arsenal another star Aaron Ramsey could make a switch to Ligue 1 with the host of French clubs could make a move for his signature.
