Liverpool defensive midfielder Fabinho has revealed that he would love to see his team to secure the services of Paris Saint-Germain winger Kylian Mbappe during the summer transfer window.

Mbappe, now in his third campaign at PSG, has been tipped for a move to either Liverpool or Real Madrid in next summer’s transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who has found back of the net 11 times in Ligue this term, played alongside Brazilian anchorman, Fabinho during Monaco’s famous title-winning 2016-17 season ahead of moving to PSG.

Speaking on the subject of Mbappe on Telefoot, Fabinho said: “I would like to welcome him to Liverpool.”

However, Jurgen Klopp has previously ruled out a transfer for French forward, insisting that the player is far too expensive.

Meanwhile, Turkish outfits Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu has reported that Liverpool have made a bid for stopper Ugurcan Cakir.

The Premier League heavyweights are currently well-stocked for options between the sticks, with Caoimhin Kelleher, Adrian and Andy Lonergan providing a solid backup to Alisson.

However, after being rumoured with a move for the 23-year-old Turkish stopper in recent months, Agaogulu says that the Merseyside Reds have made contact regarding a potential deal for the talented keeper.

Agaogulu told reporters: “There are offers for Cakir, we continue to receive offers. It’s been said Liverpool have made an offer.

“So a team that is undefeated in the Premier League wants my keeper. In other words Liverpool’s goalkeeper is in my goal.”
