Arsenal forward Nicolas Pepe has fueled talk he could quit the club in the summer by admitting he’ll ‘see what happens’ at the end of the term.
The Ivory Coast international joined the Gunners from Lille for a club record sum of £72 million but he has underwhelmed at the Emirates Stadium outfit.
Nicolas has made just 15 Premier League appearances this campaign, just 5 of which have been starts.
And the wide man admits that, once the term is finished and the Premier League giants have a clearer picture of the future, he’ll sit down to discuss his own long-term future.
‘I am focused on how well we do until the end of the season and the club’s target, which is getting into the Champions League. Then we will see what happens.’ said Nicolas.
Ex-Les Dogues player’s future could hinge on whether the North Londoners qualify for the UEFA Champions League this term.
Mikel Arteta’s men are the current frontrunners to secure the last spot, with Arsenal in fourth heading into the final stage of the season.
Elsewhere, L’Equipe report that Arsenal and their London rivlas Tottenham Hotspur are interested in landing young Rennes midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu.
