Jose Mourinho Determined to Sign World-Cup Pair Before The Summer Transfer Window Ends

July 31, 2018

Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho has identified the two players he wants to secure two major signing before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils made three signings so far this summer, however, Mourinho wants more.

Brazilian midfielder Fred has joined from Ukraine giants Shakhtar Donetsk in a £52m deal to bolster the Red Devils’ options in the midfield area.

He’s been joined in making move to the Red Devils by untried youngster Diogo Dalot and Stoke City goalie Lee Grant.

The Daily Express report that the Red Devils boss has Harry Maguire and Ivan Perisic on his shortlist this summer.

Both impressed at the World Cup tournament and Portuguese manager hopes to lure them at Old Trafford ahead of 2018/19 season.

Maguire played a key role for England as Gareth Southgate’s side reached the semi-finals of world-cup and would bolster Mourinho’s options in the heart of defence.

Perisic, meanwhile, has found back of the net in both the semi-final win over Maguire’s England and the 4-2 defeat to France in the final.

The Inter Milan forward was a target for the Red Devils last summer however, they couldn’t get a deal done.

And Mourinho is hoping to lure the world-cup pair for the next season within 10 days left before the end of the summer transfer window.
