According to The Sun, Manchester United head coach Jose Mourinho is plotting an ambitious triple bid for AS Monaco trio.
The same sources suggest that Portuguese manager wants to add midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and full-backs Benjamin Mendy and Djibril Sidibe and to his squad. A deal for highly-rated Trio is likely to cos United around £72m.
Mourinho is hoping to get the go ahead from Old Trafford chiefs to spend big again this summer.
Former Chelsea boss splashed out nearly £150m last summer by signing Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to his squad.
The 22-year-old Bakayoko has impressed for the French giants this season, making 43 appearances in all competitions. He could make a perfect partnership with the Red Devils world-record signing Pogba in the middle of the park.
Right-back Sidibe, 24, only joined AS Monaco last summer and would provide competition for Antonio Valencia with United’s Italian full-back Matteo Darmian is likely to leave Old Trafford.
While 22-year-old left-back Benjamin Mendy, also in his debut season at Stade Louis II, looks like a replacement for outcast Luke Shaw.
Everton forward Romelu Lukaku is another target with Jose Mourinho hoping to strengthen his attacking options.
