Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona look to be in a three-way transfer battle for Valencia winger Ferran Torres, according to the latest reports.
El Mundo Deportivo report that the 20-year-old could go to one of the European heavyweights if they match his £86.9 million exit clause.
The Spain Under-21s star’s deal expires next summer and it appears his next transfer may be to a new club rather than staying at the Mestalla.
Especially after Ferran has already rejected two offers of renewal from his current sides, indicating that he eyes a move away from Los Murcielagos.
Torres has scored five goals in 34 games for the La Liga side this season. His preference is understood to be for a move to Blaugrana.
And that seems like it could be increasingly likely given his agency, Leaderbrock Sports is the same one that sealed Pedro’s transfer to the Catalan club last year.
Jurgen Klopp is in the process of sorting out the summer transfer plans – especially in light of three defeats in his side’s past four games.
The Reds are believed to be in advanced talks to land RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner for around £51 million.
And the club want to get the deal done in April – or risk paying an inflated sum for him after that once the buy-out clause in his contract expires.
Liverpool have also been mentioned with Jadon Sancho but Manchester United are thought to be leading the hunt for him.
